i am almost 17 and i dont have a vehicle or a job%26gt; my parents dont want me to get a job and i want a car. the problem is i am a cheerleader and i am invovled in a lot of extra curricular activities and i have to bum rides because my momsa busy ldoing her workI need advice on how to talk to my parents?
You could try to sell stuff online, like old books you don't read anymore and such. It wouldn't be much money but it would be a start.
Or find some random unimportant object and find some saint or state or whatever that it is vaguely shaped like and sell it on eBay for millions. Others have done it in the past with great results.I need advice on how to talk to my parents?
Try discussing this with your parents. What is more important to you: extra curricular activities or getting a car (which you will need a job to get)? Talk to your parents about getting a car, if they say they cant afford it then say you want to get a job so you can buy one. Negotiate and stick with your gut feelings. Parents might desuade you but talk to them before you do anything and make sure your heart/gut are both supporting what you choose to do. Good Luck!
You could talk to her just like you just posed the question to us. But maybe your mother doesn't want you to have a job because it might interfere with your studies. And sometimes it is hard for us to see our children grow-up. Sit like an adult and discuss it with her. Find out her exact reasons and see if there is anything that might change her mind. Maybe she will let you do it for a trial, try a couple weeks and re-evaluate the situation and see how both of you feel.
You should talk to her about a summer job.
see if you can get a job during the summer when you are less busy
Just tell them it wont hurt.Keeping it inside is goin cause u alot of pain.It will work out tell them if u could help ur mom on certain days.Hope it works out.
