Any one have any advice to learn how to do the splits? And Cheerleading?Plz!?

I can do high kicks but need help on like herkies, pikes, and Texas tee's.Any one have any advice to learn how to do the splits? And Cheerleading?Plz!?
Someone asked this question a few weeks ago, and here is the answer I gave:





Make sure you do stradle stretches. Sit with your legs spread as far as they can before it hurts. Reach to one of your feet until it hurts a little, count to ten, and then go to the middle and do the same thing, and the other foot as well.





Practicing your splits every day after this stretch will help you immensly. Also practicing things like toe touches on a trampeline will help as well.





And for the other parts of cheerleading, you should:





Stand in front of the mirror and practice your hand motions. Make sure you do proper ';doughnut'; hands and if you need help on how those look google it for a picture.





Use a loud, strong voice, and SMILE SMILE SMILE! The coaches want confidence!

im a cheer leader for my high school but before i did dance streatch a lot for herkies sit in a jazz slpit adn then do ur hurky


for ur pike just strach out with ur feet together adn reach for your toes and for beter resutts tyr theses at lest 2 a day streahc wheil ur waytching tv pr doing home work or anythign that u can streach whiel ur doung and never ever drop ur chest while doing jumops oh yea and for your splits just do them and soryta just force your self down keep ur hands off the floor for about 30 sec adn then hold each side for about 2 mins and do ur middle ot took me about 5 yrs to get mine
stretch a lot...i'm not sure how to give any other advice. practice, practice, practice!

this is what i did to achieve my split. you MUST stretch everyday for it to be possible! if you're wathing tv, on commercials stretch and try to do your split pushing down a little further each commercial. also when your in your split, don't use your hands, it'll hurt, but you'll sink down more and it will take less time to achieve your split. put your hands on your hips or on your head while doing this.
