Need some food advice how to drop 5?

I'm 21 years old and put on some college weight :( I have quite a busy scheduale, 21 credits, job, and considering have no time to put a good work out in, i was wondering what to eat and how many calories to eat to lose 5 to 7 lbs. I'm hoping to lose this just by changing my eating habits. I was thinking about replacing 2 meals with atkins shakes, one snack, and a healthy dinner high in protein. What otherr foods fill you up that wont use up all the calories? How long will it take to drop this weight? I'm a little over 120 lbs, but have always been small, put on about 10 lbs, and just want to lose 5 or so. any ideas on what i shsould eat and how long it will take??Need some food advice how to drop 5?
here is what my dietician suggests . follow a practical diet. start your meal with a soup or a huge salad. this fills u up. Make sure your plate has this ratio - 50 per cent veg, 25 per cent carb.remember potatoes, corn and peas come in carbs category, 25 per cent protein.this will prevent cravings too.have a protein shake if you like too.an occassional treat is OK. have a snack every three hours. fruit ideally berries, or soy nuts. just 2 tbsp of soya subsides hunger pangs. switch from white rice and bread to brown. eat 900gms of veggies a day.Lose a kilo a week. that is permanent loss. pick an exercise regime you like.

get a pedometer and try to take 10,000 steps everyday. or try trampoline.my fitness guide swears by ityou get mini foldable ones too. (Check the reboundair site) 15 min (or 5 min of sprinting) on a tramp = 30 min on a treadmill. + a whole lot of other benefits too.http://ezinearticles.com/?Trampoline-As-鈥?/a>Need some food advice how to drop 5?
Losing weight is painfully simple - IF you have the will-power.

About 3,500 calories adds up to about 1 pound. This applies whether they are food calories coming in, or calories (burned by exercise) going out.

If you eat 3,500 calories more than your body needs, you will put on about 1 pound. If you use up 3,500 calories more than you eat, you will lose about 1 pound in weight.

With this simple formula you have everything you need to know to lose the weight. All those gimmicks, fad diets, pills, and exercise machines are nothing but that - gimmicks.

Good luck!

losing 5lbs will be easy. you can prob lose it in 2-3weeks. Just eat very healthy and excercise every so often.

I eat eggs, english muffin, fat free milk, fat free cheese, salad, fruits. Everything I eat are almost all fat free. like cheese, salad dressing.. etc

I lift some dumbells (5lbs and 10lbs), do sit ups, yoga, stretching, walking for likw 45 minutes. It's going great. I already lost 6lbs in 2wks
i too gained university weight:(

i cut out all sugars from my diet for a month and dropped 7kg!

it wasnt even really that difficult..you just have to be careful with fruit and vegetables because they seem healthy but contain alot of natural sugars that become fat deposits if not burned off.

but saying this...its what worked for me, im sure everyones dietry needs are completely different and this mite not work for some.

good luck:)
try to eat something with protein it fills you up good
dont eat
eat smaller meals throughout the day...not just 3 but several..smaller meals lower in calories...since you are eating more through the day your metabolism will speed up and calories are still being dropped when you are conscious about what it is u eat. make it routine to either get in exercise in the morning or at night..a walk, and 5 min cardio daily[works wonders cardio does cos it pumps you up quick and 5 min since ur so busy] always keep a bottle of water with you...and when you have to eat fast food like mickey d's..get a 4 peice nugget, no dip, fruit n yogurt parfait and water.

good luck hun!
