Go up to him and be like, I love to dance don't you?..Can't wait to go to that dance, how about you? (start dancing alittle) You and I should dance?..If you like to dance? Are you going with anyone?...
Confuse him a little, it will make the situation alittle less stressful.
Make him laugh with your dancing.
maybe you should just ask him. i really like confident girls who know what they want. just go up to him and say ';i'm really into dancing wanna dance with me?'; and go for it. most likely he would say yes. i almost always say yes to girls who come up and ask me. good luck1
Create an opportunity by being near him or talking to him when a song starts. Act excited and tell him you love the song or something. If all else fails, playfully ask him why he doesn't ask you to dance. It won't kill you. Trust me.
at the pre-party, walk by him and say, ';I'm going to be disappointed if you don't ask me to dance.'; If he doesn't ask you to dance than he doesn't like you
Ask him to dance, then you won't have to worry about manipulating him into asking you.
Do a quick flash (incase you have anything to show, else flash skirt). Also tell him you don't have any underwear! Works every time trust me ;)

aww that's cute. im fifteeen too and a guy so i think i might be able to help here, atleast i hope ;). umm, i would say definitely wear a nice dress that you look good in (i dont mean that like sexually or anything, just something flattering), anyway. then for sure use the pre-party thing to ur advantage. cuz if you get close to him there and talk a little then he'll see you, notice how pretty you look. but definitely kinda flirt with him a little bit at that pre-party and make sure he NOTICES you thats the big thing cuz then you'll come into his head later when hes on that dance looking for a girl to dance with/hang out with. then if hes not asking you by like half way thru the dance, just bring one of your friends over and try to have her get one of your crush's friends to dance with, then when they start heading to the dance floor, be like ';looks like they're having fun'; or kind of subtley mention that you would like to dance. then he should for sure ask you. if he doesnt then keep up the flirting and talking to him alone, and at some point he will DEFINITELY ask you to dance.

it might be kinda hard now to get him to ask u! but u can try to get him to ask u by saying something like ';u going to the dance?'; things like that but if that doesnt work out then u can always ask him! i know it would seem kinda scary but if u really want to dance with him then u have to give it all u got! and guys actualy like it when u ask them to the dance! its alot less work for them! so try to have the guts to do it!

Bring up dancing at the pre-party, that way you can tell if he's the dancing type. Some boys will say ';Eew, I don't dance.';
If he does don't give up! At the dance if you hear a song you like, ask HIM to dance.
';I know you don't like dancing, but could yo make an exception and dance this one with me?';
Even if a guy would like to dance with a girl, they also get shy, and unless he is extremely self confident you're going to find yourself waiting and watching people dance all night.
The worst thing he can say is no, in whihc case you can dance with someone else or offer to keep him company while the others are on the floor.
