Any advice as to how to get out of second semester marching band...?

ok, so i joined marching band (percussion) for first semester of school and i hate it. but i promised to go through it until the season was over. but my mom signed me up for second semester without asking me. any advice how to get out of it? im not trying to be a bratt. but i only promised to do it the first semester. and i REALLY hate it.Any advice as to how to get out of second semester marching band...?
Do you get credits at your school for marching band or is it an extracurricular activity? If you get credits you will have to get your mother, the marching band teacher, and your counslor all to agree you can get out of it. Start be going to the counslor and telling he you don't like marching band. If this is an exracurricular activity ask your mom if you can stop after the first semester and if she agrees go to the marching band teacher and tell him you arn't going to be in marching band second semester because you decided you don't really like it or that you decided to do something else. It should be really simple to get out of it if your mom agrees.Any advice as to how to get out of second semester marching band...?
You need to talk about this with your mom and explain to her that this is not what you want.

can't you get it changed at the guidance councilor's office? try that....there's gotta be some way....
She probably signed you up again because YOU promised to go through it until the season was over!
